New mobile app gives users efficient on-the-go access to local communities, local deals, and expert content

This month, Smashon launched its new mobile app for smartphones and tablets, giving users access to the company’s services in a mobile-friendly fashion. The free app can be downloaded on Apple’s App Store and Google Play.

The app connects communities with neighbors, health and fitness promotions, and expert content.
“The Community” section is a platform where members connect and post discussions, comments and events for everyone to see. Instead of “liking” a post and giving a thumbs up, users can motivate others by selecting the “Motivate Me” button. Each community can have community leaders managing the group, guiding conversations and engaging more members to help them reach their health and fitness goals.
In addition to the community, the app provides local promotions from “The Market” section. All merchants are within the company’s verticals: Health, Fitness, Wellness, Beauty and Nutrition. All participating local businesses can create real-time promotions for Smashon members to purchase instantly at highly discounted prices.

Since the release of the new app, users now have an easier way to access the QR codes needed to redeem the products and services they love. All they have to do is show their QR code at the merchant’s location. For merchants, the entire process can be completed on an electronic device and customers don’t have to bring anything else.
Expert content is accessible in “The Know” section of the app. Smashon Verified Experts provide original quality health and fitness content for users to learn and stay updated on the latest tips and trends for living a healthy lifestyle.
